India NMDC plans to double iron ore production of the 2014/15 fiscal year

India's largest manufacturer of iron ore, the state-owned mining company (NMDC) plans to the 2014-15 fiscal year will be doubling to 40 million tons of iron ore production.

NMDC Kirandul iron ore in Chhattisgarh Bailadila and Bacheli iron ore annual output will be raised to 32.5 million tons, the Karnataka Donimalai iron ore and Kumaraswamy iron ore production will be raised to 7.5 million tons.

In order to improve the production capacity of iron ore, NMDC has formed a joint venture with Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation (CMDC) Bailadila region to jointly develop the 4th and the 13th of iron ore, the annual production capacity of 700 million tons and 10 million tons respectively.
